Dark Slug

Dark slug;
dirty little thing
weights your shoulder,
knots you in
eating your balance.
You flick it
but it's suctioned.
I try to talk
it from your neck,
it's a race to peel
before it reaches
your inner ear
and squirms in.
Once there it'll
take some shifting.
So far it's still
soft and malleable,
killable with salt.
