I’m sorry to announce that, for a variety of reasons, the JBWB Competition is going into temporary hibernation. Following the sad, sad loss of Jenny Hewitt, the Bureau has had to regroup, and I’m afraid that this process is taking longer than expected.
The Competition will be reinstated next year, in a slightly different format, to be announced closer to the time, but it will become a tribute, a memorial to Jenny, and I hope it will return to its former glory, and possibly exceed it.
Unless you inform me that you would like your current entry held over for next year’s competition, I shall shortly begin refunding the fees to all those who entered the Autumn Competition, although it may take some time for them all to trickle through to you.
My heartfelt thanks goes out to all of you who have been so supportive during these past few sad and empty months. Without you – and your writing – life would have been intolerable.
